Comments

Most of the writers I am in contact with are keen readers, but some have strict rules. One person I know never reads her own genre while she's writing. She saves it for holiday reading.
I read constantly. But I have to be careful what I read when I'm writing because it can flavour what I write. Not so much copying word for word but mood.

I must admit I'm reading less these days. Probably because I usually read late at night, and find myself falling asleep after getting through a few pages.
