Ro - "no problem" is always a funny one. My carp is getting somebody in India to deal with a problem in the US. I mean, please! Best,

Daryl

What about those call centre people who say "Bear with me" when they mean "Could you hold for a moment, please"?

It makes me so peevish that it has a kind of retrospective accuracy. I *am* 'bearing with them', or at least with their lazy usage.

It is lazy language. That's why it's so refreshing when someone actually treats you as if you were a real person as opposed to one of a steady stream of people that is interrupting their text-messaging.
