Frankly, I think it should be written into the constitution of the US that cell phone use while driving should be illegal. And the first bill of wrongs would be texting while you drive.
I only have a cell phone (no land line) and I won't even get it out of my purse if I'm driving.

Patg, I just read that Virginia is instituting a fine for people who text while driving. The problem, as I understand it, is that it's very hard to see if someone is texting. Also hard to prove unless there's an accident and the records show the text.
