I'm a new visitor to this blog, and I'm really enjoying it.

I am a web/graphic designer by trade, while working hard to get my novel published. I've recently gone over the same questions with my site, so I have a few pointers that may help.

First off, that cover is FANTASTIC. It's an eye catcher, and I would certainly include it on the site. Then, I would pull colors from that picture for the site layout. It's been done on this site, everything is uniform with the banner.

In my opinion, when someone visits your website, you want them to feel like they've stepped into one of your books. In addition, you should definitely include your photos and information about yourself. They concern when building a good website is not if there is too much content but rather, is the content well organized? It's okay for all of it to be there, it just needs to be unobtrusive unless the visitor wants to see it.

I could go on. Feel free to contact me for further discussion. I don't want to take up this blog space! I've done a lot of websites, and feel free to visit my site for ideas.

BTW, this blog is great and I'll be back!
