I've never made fish chowder, but I have been making more soups than ever. Not a lot, just some potato-leek, a black-bean vegetarian soup, and split-pea. We're lucky because one of our local restaurants makes an absolutely fabulous lobster/crab bisque that is not too salty and full of delicious chunks. Really excellent. We go there at least a couple times a month just for the bisque.

Good luck with the fish chowder. I bet it turns out great.

Never mind. That one had milk in it, too. I must have been blind when I was reading the recipe. :-)
