I do so miss the look of the vintage Barbies. Such beautiful dolls.

I'll put in a plug for the Fort Mill Public Library in Fort Mill, SC.

Thanks, Debbie! Done!

Hi Lorraine,

My mother, now 100, sewed Barbie doll clothes well into her 90s. She outfitted Barbies for my daughters and grand-daughters, although the latter are more into American Girl dolls.

My local library is Lancaster Public Library in Lancaster, PA. I think the address is 125 N. Duke Street, but I'm even less sure of the zip code.

Hi Lorraine,

I would love you to send our Library a postcard. The name is :
Lake County Library
1425 N. High Street
Lakeport, CA
(707)263-8817

As for Barbie? Well, I must confess to having been a stuffed animal lover. Great article!
Jeannie
