I don't do well in traffic. I had a somewhat higher tolerance level before I drove across country twice. Now I go back roads to the market 3 miles from my house. LOL. I know exactly what you mean and kudoes to your son.

I couldn't agree more ... I had a 1.5 hour commute (each way) in DFW for the past three years. Sent my BP through the roof with people weaving in and out of traffic, failing to yield, etc. Oy. Settle down, folks, and we'll all get there safer *and* faster.

Safer. Oh, yes, to feel safer on the road. I'm in a NY cab right now. Need I say more? LOL

"I asked him if he could wait 32 seconds every day in order to be safe." Avery, I am SO using that with my son when he starts driving! It's brilliant. He's going to be in driver's ed at the end of next year...shudder! It'll help me stay calmer knowing that he's really watching for traffic.

I'm scared to drive and it's mostly the other drivers that make me afraid.
