This is wonderful. I'll tell my daughter about Sea-Bands as she gets carsick when she tries to read. Thanks so much!

We did a cruise a few years back and caught the end of a hurricane in the Caribbean, did that ship rock, I had the wrist bands and they worked a real treat. Unfortunately I lent them to a friend and never got them back, so I shall probably have to wait for another cruise.

I've suffered from vertigo for many years and can get "sea sick" on solid ground. I've tried both of these remedies. Bonine is a branded name for Meclizine, and you can actually get it much cheaper in an off brand (in the travel sickness area of places like Target). I now get it through Kaiser in a chewable tablet, which is great when you need it to work fast. The Meclizine can make you drowsy if you're not used to it, but eventually that affect lessens. The Sea-Bands are also really great. I've used them for flying and if I have to get on a boat (cringe). Glad you found something that works for you. Motion sickness is definitely not fun.
