Sounds like a great book - do you recommend reading from book #1 or can we just dig in later on in the series?

It's always best to start at the beginning. A lot of authors write a series where the characters never change and it doesn't matter what book you start with. I'm not that kind of writer. My characters change with every book. Like me, their lives progress. So...yeah, it's best to start at the beginning, otherwise you might be asking yourself "what the heck is going on?" : )

BTW, the first book in this series is A Crafty Killing, followed by The Walled Flower. There's also a companion book, Recipes to Die For: A Victoria Square Cookbook.

You were right! I started with A Crafty Killing and immediately ran out to get The Walled Flower. I love the Artisan Alley community and growth of characters. I'd love to review this series - may I have an ARC of One Hot Murder? Just finished Cleo Coyle's review (posting Monday) and ready for more!
