I have yet to listen to one but yours could be my first. It's silly to say this as I love to listen to something while I'm working (cleaning etc) it's maybe the idea that someone is there keeping me company and I'm not really alone, plus who doesn't love a good mystery. The person's voice is important. I have to listen to music at night as I have that slight white noise and the music drowns it out - Rod Stewart and his classic songs he sings are perfect but every once in awhile the quick one comes on and jars me awake. I think I will pick one of yours up and let you keep me company.

I have never listened to an audio book. I will have to try it.

I love audio books. I have a vision problem and work on a computer all day long. Some evenings my eyes just can't take anymore reading, so I listen. The guy who does your Resnick series (Steven Barnett) is phenomenal. I love listening to him. That also is so important when listening to an audio book, that the narrator is believable. It is truly an art form.

I know your personal situation right now is hard, and I'm very sorry for your loss. I LOVED the Jeff Resnick series. Are you going to be writing any more in that series?
Thanks and take care.

Hi, Debbie. Yes, I'm in the middle of writing the 7th Jeff Resnick novel right now. It's called Shattered Spirits. I hope to have it available by early summer, as I have to start Booktown #11 by June 1st. I'm also working on Telenia #3 Treachery. Juggling two books is kind of hard, but when I get stuck on one, I move to the other.

As executor of my Mom's estate I have nothing but respect for what you are doing. I am almost to the end of things for my mom. Do you ever wonder if you are doing it the way she wants? (smiling)

You have my deepest sympathies, Melva. It hasn't been easy liquidating the estate. The fact that I don't get anything from the sale (she left the house to another family member), means I have to just work hard knowing this is what she would want me to do.
