I've been thrifting too long before it was chic to do so. Hubby and I go quite often. We even have the grand daughter wanting to go. Our local outdoor flea market opens in a couple of weeks and can't wait to hit it bright and early Sunday mornings. We've collected multiple different items. My favorite is Jadeite.

Good luck at finding kittens.

( I just hate paying retail).

My "Southern Belle" (Lexington,KY) DIL does a yard sale every year. She calls all of us up to ask if we have stuff we want to add to her piles.

My dad got me started thrifting. He loved flea markets. I collect porcelain trinket boxes and he was always on the lookout for me. That got me hooked. I also have my grandmother's hand crank Victoria which dates back to 1915, and it still works, so I'm always on the lookout for records.
